  • Where is the farm? 69 Taylor Ferry Rd., Elma, WA 98541
  • Do you ship? We are now offering shipping within Washington State! The minimum order is $99 and shipping is a flat rate fee of $29. Free shipping on orders over $169. We ship on Mondays and Wednesdays and orders generally arrive the day after shipping. Orders are shipped in cardboard boxes with recyclable paper liners and frozen ice packs.
  • Do you have a store? We have an on-farm store in Elma, WA that is open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 11am-5pm. We are now offering freezer pickup. Now you can pick up your order even if the store isn't open! Available 7 days a week between 8am and 8pm. Order fulfillment is 1-3 days depending on the day of the week.
  • Which farmers markets do you attend? We attend the Olympia Farmers Market (Saturdays, January thru March* and Saturdays and Sundays, April thru December *we won't be back at this market until February 24) and Proctor Farmers Market (Saturdays). Order online by 5 pm the day before market for quick and easy pickup the next day.
  • Do you deliver? We are not offering delivery at this time. You can find our full line of pork products and old fashioned farm soaps through South Sound Fresh, offering weekly local delivery to parts of Mason and Thurston Counties.
  • What products do you offer? We offer our quality pork as well as grass-fed and grass-finished beef, pasture-raised chicken and pasture-raised lamb from local farms. We also carry a variety of other local products including eggs, honey, jam and kraut in the on-farm store.
  • What does forest-raised pork mean? Our pigs live in large fenced (hot wire) areas of the forest where they are free to forage, roam and nap as they like. Our forest have both deciduous and evergreen trees including oak, maple, spruce, hemlock and cedar. We supplement our animals' naturally foraged food with Washington grown, non-GMO grains that are corn and soy free. Their feed is comprised mainly of wheat, barley and peas. All grains are grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. During the winter the pigs are given covered shelter and deep bedding. 
  • What breed of pigs do you raise? We raise a variety of pigs including Berkshires, Herefords and Red Wattles as well as crosses of these and others.  
  • Do you breed your own pigs? We currently have a breeding herd of about 45 with the majority of our pigs being produced on-farm.
  • Are your animals fed grain? We supplement our pigs' naturally foraged food with Washington grown, non-GMO grains that are corn and soy free. Their feed is comprised mainly of wheat, barley and peas. All grains are grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. The beef we carry is pasture-raised, grass-fed and grass-finished. The chicken is raised on grass and they are fed grain but it all may not be soy-free. The lamb is raised on grass and the breeding herd is fed a small amount of grain daily with a vitamin supplement. 
  • Are your animals grain finished? Our pigs are provided grain for the length of their lives. We supplement our animals naturally foraged food with Washington grown, non-GMO grains that are corn and soy free. Their feed is comprised mainly of wheat, barley and peas. 
  • Are your products organically certified? We are not a certified organic farm. We incorporate our animals into the farm in a regenerative way that supports healthy land stewardship. We source our supplemental grains directly from Washington farmers that are committed to growing non-GMO grain without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. We never use antibiotics or growth hormones. We carry pasture-raised chicken that is fed non-GMO feed and may or may not be certified Organic and pasture-raised beef that is grass-fed and grass-finished. The beef and lamb are pasture-raised but are not certified organic.  
  • Where can we find your products? Shop our online store 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and choose from several convenient pick up locations. Visit our on-farm store in Elma, WA. You can find us regularly at local farmers markets throughout the year (see above). Order online for quick and easy pickup at farmers markets. We also offer our full line of pork products through South Sound Fresh, with weekly local delivery to parts of Mason and Thurston Counties. Now offering shipping within Washington State.
  • Are you offering bulk discounts or whole or half shares? We are now offering a variety of bulk boxes as well as whole and half pig shares. If you are already enjoying the selection of pork cuts we offer, this is a great opportunity to stock up and save! We are not offering bulk discounts of beef or chicken at this point. 
  • Do you offer whole pigs for roasting? Email info@chehalisvalleyfarm for pricing and availability.
  • Can we visit the farm? We believe in the importance of consumers developing personal relationships with those that produce their food. Email info@chehalisvalleyfarm.com to arrange a farm visit. Visits are by appointment only.
  • Do you have eggs for sale? We offer pasture-raised chicken eggs in our on-farm store produced by other farms.
  • Do you have chicken? We offer pasture-raised whole chickens and chicken cuts in our on-farm store produced by other farms.
  • Do you have beef? We offer grass-fed and grass-finished ground beef and bones in our on-farm store produced by other farms.
  • Do you have lamb? We offer pasture-raised lamb cuts in our on-farm store produced by other farms.

  • Can I pre-order products? You can reserve products in inventory for farmers market or on-farm pickup on our website. 
  • Where are the animals processed? Our pork is USDA processed at Revel Meats in Canby, Oregon. Revel Meats is a small, locally owned butcher Animal Welfare Approved and believes in humane handling of livestock. The beef and lamb are USDA processed, processing facility may differ depending on the farm. The pasture-raised chicken we sell is processed in on-farm WSDA-inspected facilities.
